๐ฌ Video options
When adding a lecture or scheduling a live session, the video field accepts either of these:
- YouTube โ paste a YouTube video ID or full link (for live, a YouTube Live link). Free and easy; best on modern devices.
- Self-hosted โ paste a direct
.mp4link or an.m3u8(HLS) stream URL from your own storage or live server. These play right inside the app on any device, including older phones where YouTube may not.
Self-hosting keeps everything in-house at no cost โ e.g. a free stream server for live, or free file storage for recorded lessons. Ask your administrator for the stream/file URL to paste in.
